Hi, all.

I'm looking for a fairly simple and lightweight task management application for Windows, that will let me keep track of tasks that need to be done, and who they are currently assigned to.

I know that I can use heavy hammers such as Project Management tools, but I'm looking for something a bit smaller than that.

Save me from yet another XLS!

Just looked at basecamp and it doesn't seem to be free.

no you're not missing anything. you can test for free, but the features are very limited.

Basecamp has a free plan:

I've tried alot of different things but i think google tasks is the most useful.

there is a mobile web site as well and i created Liquid instances on my desktop for my mac.
